Every lot at Sardar Rice Mills passes through a structured quality procedure before it reaches the packing floor.

At Sardar Rice Mills, quality is managed as an operational discipline. The in-house lab runs checks on every lot that comes off the processing line, measuring grain length, moisture content, purity, and visual appearance. These measurements are taken with precision instruments and recorded per lot.
A product does not move to the packing floor without a verified quality record. That discipline — applied consistently — is the foundation of the consistency our buyers rely on.

Grain length is measured using precision digital gauges on representative samples from every lot. Target average for premium 1121 basmati: 6.61 mm in raw form.

Digital thickness and length gauges are used as standard. These instruments provide objective, repeatable measurements and a documented lot-specific record supporting buyer confidence.

Alongside instrument measurement, trained staff conduct manual visual inspection of every lot — screening for discoloration, chalkiness, damaged grains, and foreign matter.
Determines grading tier and market value. We target and verify specific length ranges for each product family. 1121 Basmati raw average: 6.61 mm.
Affects shelf life, grain integrity during transport, and spoilage risk. Checked for compliance before packing. Export rice is processed to appropriate moisture levels for shipping duration and destination climate.
Electronic sorting and grading separate brokens from whole grains. The broken grain percentage is measured and documented as part of the standard quality record per lot.
Multi-stage cleaning before and after milling removes husk fragments, stones, and non-rice grain. Purity percentages are verified per lot before dispatch approval.
Uniformity of color, absence of chalkiness, and grain presentation are assessed by trained staff. Elongation ratio, separation, and aroma are evaluated for premium basmati lots.
Quality results are recorded per lot. Documentation is maintained as part of the internal traceability record and is available to export buyers on request. Each approved lot has a verified quality record before packing is cleared.
